And my son is gearing up to be the strongest man alive.
Firstly, let me admit. I'm writing this from the comfort of my bed. It's Sunday. And in this house, Sunday is Mom-Day. I get to sleep in and my husband is on D duty.
So when D wouldn't go back to bed at 6:30am, I rolled over, snickered and went back to sleep. (Hey, he gets Saturday. I'm not an awful person!)
D has had some teething issues lately. Which has resulted in sleeping issues. Which has resulted in sleepy parents.
After eight days of waking all night in a screaming fit of rage, he had a tooth pop through. Then he slept 15 hours one night. And then that bastard tooth laughed and went back under the guns and apparently went to get his friend on the other side. Now, another six long, waking nights later, the first one is out and staying out but the other is still trying to say hello.
D was an amazing sleeper. And has been since he was about 2.5 months old. But these two teeth are out to get us. And I'm secretly praying to the parenting-Gods that he goes back to his solid 12 hour nights soon.
For now, I suppose, I'll take advantage of my Sunday mornings... Until I have to pee and get spotted trying to sneak to the bathroom.
Wish me luck.
