A Day in the Life of a Toddler

Today I played paparazzi with my son and took pictures throughout our day. Below is a recap of what we got up to today while the husband had to work overtime.
Picture
Fast asleep but still looking stylish
Picture
Enjoying breakfast with Daddy - peanut butter and banana "sushi" YUM!
Picture
Daddy dropped us off at Metrotown before going into work. The mall wasn't open just yet so we hung out on the Batmobile.
Picture
Trying to break into Toys R Us to go look at the toys
Picture
We picked out a backpack (which is a big hit and now means I don't have to carry all of his stuff! BOOYA!)
Picture
We went for a ride on the train at Metrotown. D loved blowing kisses and waving to every.single.person we passed.
Picture
On the way home, crossing the sky train bridge. Time to go have a nap!
Picture
After reading a few stories and a three hour nap, someone woke up ready to party!
Picture
We packed up his backpack and hit the road again - Next stop, the Quay! Dean enjoyed playing on the tug boat play structure.
Picture
Making friends with the World's Tallest Tin Soldier. He kept waving to the giant tin man.
Picture
We stopped at both playgrounds along the boardwalk. He loved the swing and climbing up the big structure and going down the big slide - all by himself! (While I had a heart attack from the ground, trying to let him do it without help)
Picture
Taking off into the sunset.... Or maybe just taking off. Not sure.
Picture
While at the market, D found some ladies to follow. They were on their way to the Pub. He got stopped by the lady at the front entrance to the Pub. No minors, sorry buddy.
Picture
We concluded our fun Quay adventure with a crepe for dinner. I got one to split and after my first bite, D grabbed it and started eating it whole. We ended up getting a second one so I could have dinner - and he ate 1/3 of that one, too. Yum!

After a FaceTime bedtime story with Daddy, who was still at work, someone fell asleep in their big boy bed.
It was a busy day. We planned on going to Science World this afternoon but D decided to sleep longer than normal so that plan was postponed for tomorrow.

D surprised me today by not using a stroller, at all. I barely had to carry him either (except on the way home, when it was dark and I didn't want to take half an hour to get home... Plus bedtime was fast approaching!
I think tomorrow we will be leaving the stroller at home for our trip to Science World. Wish me luck!
